At its core the Price Candles component is a charting tool to view and monitor the price and volume of any token by entering its symbol or the relevant pool address via the primary tab in the element settings.
As with any charting tool, it is trivial to add graphic overlays such as lines, rectangles or text along with an array of indicators as displayed below:
The trades tab in the element settings features a trade explorer, a table and range selector for looking at top traders and other key metrics, and an overlay which overlays trades on top of the price chart.
With Compare one can add additional price series' to the chart to look at the relative performance of 2 or more assets:
Contracts allows us to overlay arbitrary event logs from any contract across the chains we index. We can visualise these event logs both an instances and in bar chart form. As an example, I take the wstETH Controller contract for crvUSD, select Liquidations as the event log I wish to visualise and then collateral received as the value I am interested in from that log:
We can then add this data to the chart both as a segregated bar chart showing the collateral received and simply as instances overlaid on the price chart:
Similarly to the contracts feature, lending allows us to add various pieces of lending data to our price chart, notably originations, liquidations and lending rates across the lending venues we cover. This data is displayed similarly to the contracts bar chart above:
In a similar fashion to the lending feature, Derivatives allows us to add derivatives data to our price candles chart, notably funding rates, spot basis and open interest from the derivatives venues we cover.
Taker Volume allows us to see the buy/sell volume of a particular address for a given pair by simply entering the pair (normally the same as the pair chosen for the price candles chart) and the taker address we are interested in:
The timeseries feature allows us to add any data point to our chart which is available via the timeseries element. The timeseries element is addressed seperately within these docs and can be viewed here.
The Liquidity feature shows the concentration of liquidity around the market price for a given pair:
